Sabre Imagery's History

our history

Helping Businesses Succeed (Since 1985)

In the Spring of 1985, nothing stood in the way of Sabre co-founder Gary Soprano and his long-term, unified vision better known as Sabre Imagery. Initially, Sabre began as an audio, video & film production initiative by producing and directing high-end 35mm film projects in Dolby® Surround Sound.

He met with people from Disney in Anaheim, California, about using a hot new product, the dbx Digital Audio System with Disney's new 3D Captain EO show starring Michael Jackson, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, and produced by George Lucas. Sabre gained a great deal of knowledge about 3D audio and video presentations and how they worked. Captain EO was shown at Disney theme parks from 1986 through the 1990s. The attraction returned to the Disney theme parks in 2010, as a tribute after Jackson's death.

Soon afterwards, Sabre was generating overall marketing support for the professional audio & consumer electronics industries, retail branding, as well as media development for a variety of entertainment industries. It wasn't much longer before Sabre expanded their repertoire even further and started creating unique identity and advertising campaigns for a multitude of other industries, too.

Now a multifaceted, full-service "boutique" agency, Sabre Imagery, Inc. enables companies to grow through creative advertising, design, brand identity, website design and development, printing services, video production & interactive media. Our telling image is a strong indicator of how we've grown over time. While our services have expanded over the past 26 years, two things certainly haven't changed: Sabre's commitment to helping our clients reach their target audience with first-class product quality, and delivering the significant, measurable results they want...and need.
